and math – May 10 to 20, 2018 at various venues in Calgary
- Calaway Park Opening Weekend
This will be a weekend you won’t want to miss! Calaway Park will be kicking off its 27th season of family
fun, May 19 to 21!
- Heritage Park Opening Weekend – Summer
Celebrate the long weekend by stepping back in time. Calgary’s Heritage Park Historical Village’s 54th
summer season begins. Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride, feast on a fresh cheese bun, experience the thrill
of the antique midway or ride on the thundering steam train as Heritage Park opens for another exciting
summer! – May 19 to 21 – 10am – 5pm – Heritage Park, Calgary.
- Iron Horse Park Opening
Come and experience an interpretive journey on the 1.6km of track which is currently operational.
Another .5km of track was also completed in 2016 and will occasionally be available on public run days.

- High River Little Britches Weekend
Round up your cowpokes and come on down to enjoy one of Canada’s most unique rodeos. The Little
Britches rodeo is one of the main attractions, where kids can practice their cowboy moves in challenges
such as calf roping, sheep riding and barrel busting. Enjoy a music festival and “A Taste of High River”
event for food lovers! May 18 – 21, High River Rodeo Grounds.
